...I might have not gone...oy I got a bit of heat stroke at RenFaire this past Sat, but it was my first time seeing it in Irwindale. We took the kids who also got hot, but they did enjoy it. Esp the bubble wand play area! They could have stayed there all day, I am sure! Sara met a "fairy baby" and they had fun staring at each other, and Eric was given a favor by one of the Queen's Guard! He also would have run off with any gievn musical parade, too! Bodes well for future less hot Faires...
..now I just hope my lord and I can get back for a couple's day...must look up sitters list!
well, for anyone else who has profiles on both renspace and enchantedfolk.com...my profile pics keep trading places!!! The Ren one ends up on faespace and viceversa!!
I am Cat aka Autumn Goldmoon, Fairyteller aka Lady Emma Wolvyne (Barony of Lyondemere, Kingdom of CAID). I am happy to have found this place (as I also found a similar site, enchantedfolk.com). I hope to make friends here and maybe also in person at RenFaires and SCA events. Mostly hoping to meet fellow moms with youngish kids to hang together at events for play for the wee'uns and company for the gr'ups!
